Animal Rehabilitation Services for Dogs and Cats

Animal Physical Rehabilitation is a specialized form of therapy designed to help pets recover from injuries, surgeries, or health conditions. It uses exercises, massage, and other techniques to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance the overall well-being of pets, similar to how physical therapy helps people.

Rehabilitation Service Update

At this time, rehabilitation services will not be offered in-house at BBVSH.

After more than seven years of dedicated care at Boundary Bay Veterinary Specialty Hospital, Dr. Allyssa Henderson will be moving on to begin her own mobile rehabilitation practice. We are incredibly grateful for the expertise, compassion, and commitment Dr. Henderson has brought to our patients, clients, and hospital team over the years, and we wish her every success in this next chapter.

Clients wishing to continue rehabilitation care with Dr. Henderson can contact:

Rehabilitation referrals can also be made to our sister hospital, Boundary Bay Veterinary Specialty Hospital in Surrey, BC, which continues to offer rehabilitation services.

We are evaluating future rehabilitation service options, but do not have additional details to share at this time.

We sincerely thank our clients and referring veterinarians for their trust and support.
