BIO

Dr. Moria Borys is originally from Colorado, and earned her veterinary degree from Colorado State University in 2010. She completed an internship at Angell Animal Medical Center in Boston, MA, followed soon after by a Master’s degree in Veterinary Microbiology and Preventative Medicine from Iowa State University. She eventually found her way to California, where she completed a residency in Small Animal Internal Medicine at the University of California, Davis. She moved to Bellingham in 2024 to be closer to family and to enjoy the beautiful PNW scenery. She and her partner are proud parents to 2 daughters and an outspoken Chihuahua named Mayday, and spend much of their free time exploring the region (and its many playgrounds) together.

Moria enjoys all aspects of Internal Medicine but is especially interested in treating autoimmune and infectious disease, as well as managing gastrointestinal disease, renal disease, and other chronic conditions.
