24/7 Emergency Care
To our veterinary colleagues, my commitment is to provide the highest quality of care to your patients, and to work in collaboration with you to craft care plans that work for our owners and patients.
To pet owners, my commitment is to be a good listener and provide you with a range of options, free of judgement. I know your pet is an important member of your family, and I’m excited to work with you to get them feeling their best.
Dr. Moria Borys is originally from Colorado, and earned her veterinary degree from Colorado State University in 2010. She completed an internship at Angell Animal Medical Center in Boston, MA, followed soon after by a Master’s degree in Veterinary Microbiology and Preventative Medicine from Iowa State University. She eventually found her way to California, where she completed a residency in Small Animal Internal Medicine at the University of California, Davis. She moved to Bellingham in 2024 to be closer to family and to enjoy the beautiful PNW scenery. She and her partner are proud parents to 2 daughters and an outspoken Chihuahua named Mayday, and spend much of their free time exploring the region (and its many playgrounds) together.
Moria enjoys all aspects of Internal Medicine but is especially interested in treating autoimmune and infectious disease, as well as managing gastrointestinal disease, renal disease, and other chronic conditions.
Boundary Bay is an animal hospital that offers specialized veterinary medical care and 24/7 emergency services to provide peace-of-mind to pet owners and to support primary care veterinarians.
