Lisa McElveen

We are pleased to welcome Lisa McElveen, LVT, as our new sonographer! Lisa has spent the last nine years working in Diagnostic Imaging at the University of Florida Veterinary Hospitals. She has extensive experience with all major imaging modalities (radiographs, CT, MRI, fluoroscopy) with a special emphasis on diagnostic ultrasound.

Our radiologist, Dr. PJ Hamel, is excited to be working with Lisa and interpreting her diagnostic ultrasound studies.

Lisa has a Veterinary Technology degree from St. Petersburg College and two Bachelor’s degrees in Zoology and Food Science from the University of Florida. Lisa, her partner, their two dogs and cat recently road-tripped their way across the country to move to Bellingham. They enjoy hiking, kayaking and camping, and are excited to explore the nearby mountain trails and coastal waterways!
